High-Pressure Relief Valves are most commonly used to prevent abnormal pressure increases
in hydraulic control circuits. As the operating pressure within a control circuit increases to
or above a predetermined pressure setting, it will be dispersed through the Relief Valve’s
out port.

High-Pressure Relief Valves are most commonly used to prevent abnormal pressure increases
in hydraulic control circuits. As the operating pressure within a control circuit increases to
or above a predetermined pressure setting, it will be dispersed through the Relief Valve’s
out port.
Turning the Spring Housing clockwise will increase the Relief Valve pressure setting. Rotating the Spring Housing counterclockwise will decrease the Relief Valve pressure setting. Once the exact pressure relief setting required is achieved, the Lock Nut should be tightened against the Spring Housing to maintain the appropriate setting.
